Option 1: Appeal
If you are denied to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, you may appeal the decision by providing additional documentation for consideration by committee.
You may appeal to the Faculty Senate Admissions Committee by submitting:
- The appeals application.
- One personal statement explaining the circumstances surrounding your academic performance and providing evidence of your ability to succeed at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.
- Two letters of recommendation, preferably from teachers, professors, counselors, or others who can address your academic abilities.
- A copy of your ACT or SAT test scores (not required but highly encouraged for students who have them).
Email (preferred), mail, or fax your documents (including the appeals application) to the attention of the Faculty Senate Admissions Committee Liaison. (Submission information is listed on the appeals application.)
Option 2: Enroll at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ as a Non-Degree-Seeking Student
You may enroll as a non-degree-seeking student to earn credits towards being admissible into a degree-seeking program at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. Although there is no limit to the number of credits you may earn as a non-degree-seeking student, no more than 24 credits earned under the non-degree status may be applied towards a bachelor’s degree at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.
Once you have earned the credentials, you must reapply to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.
Option 3: Enroll at Another Institution and Transfer to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ
You may enroll at another institution to earn credits towards your transfer GPA to reach 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s admissions standards.
Once you have earned the credentials, you must reapply to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.
