Admission Requirements for First-Year Students

We accept both the  and our  for incoming first-year students only. No preference is given to either the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Application or the Common Application – we recommend students choose the most convenient application. 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ is test-optional, but test scores are encouraged for 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ course placement. Request to have your scores sent to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ from  or  when you register for the test. Learn more about first-year admission requirements.

Merit-Based Scholarships 

51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ offers a variety of scholarship programs for both Nevada residents and non-residents. For scholarship consideration, our priority deadline is Nov. 15, 2022. Students must complete the FAFSA or Alternate Need Form, and be admitted to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ by this date for priority consideration. There is no separate application for students to be considered. Learn more about scholarship programs that are available for the 2022-2023 school year.
