51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's Office of Government and Community Engagement is pleased to recognize this year's recipients of the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ 2024 Community Engagement Awards!
These annual, campus-wide awards recognize students, staff, and faculty for their exceptional community engagement in the areas of 1) service-learning, 2) community-based research, 3) faculty/staff community outreach activity, and 4) student service.
The 2024 recipients are:
- Service-Learning Award Recipient: Rachel Anderson, William S. Boyd School of Law
- Community-Based Research Award Recipient: Erika Marquez, School of Public Health, Department of Environmental and Occupational Health
- Faculty/Staff Outreach Award Recipient: Rebecca Nathanson, College of Education and William S. Boyd School of Law
- Student Service Award Recipient: Makayla Franklin, Hospitality Management Major
Additionally, the following individuals received honorable mentions:

- Community-Based Research Award Honorable Mention: Kara Radzak, School of Integrated Health Sciences

- Student Service Award Honorable Mention: Siddharth Raich, Social and Behavioral Health Major
