Deadline for submissions: April 15, 2024

The Teaching, Learning, and AI - Virtual Conference planning committee invites all faculty, graduate students, and instructional designers/technologists to submit proposals for our second annual NSHE virtual conference on October 17, 2025.

The event will focus on the integration of Gen AI in teaching and learning, and we are particularly interested in interactive workshops and sessions that emphasize practical, hands-on approaches to teaching with AI, prioritizing strategies and applications that directly enhance the classroom experience.

Whether you're leveraging AI to support student engagement, streamline assessment, personalize learning experiences, or foster academic integrity, we want to hear how AI is transforming your teaching practice.

Submission Guidelines
All proposals should:

  • Clearly address higher education teaching and learning in the age of AI.
  • Include a title and a 250-word (maximum) abstract detailing your session's objectives, activities, and expected outcomes for participants.
  • Indicate the session format (e.g., workshop, demonstration, panel discussion) and how you will engage conference attendees in your topic.
  • Indicate if you would like to be grouped on a panel, present alone, or already have a co-presenters in mind.

The deadline for submissions is April 15. Presenters will be notified of their acceptance by May 9, 2025.
