
Lily Flores
Meet Liliana (Lily) Flores, an Administrative Assistant IV in Student-Athlete Academic Services who has been part of the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ community for seven years. Her journey on campus has been defined by collaboration, support, and a passion for impactful work. With a deep appreciation for the university’s culture and a strong sense of belonging, Lily finds inspiration in faith, determination, and the camaraderie of her colleagues.
Tell us about your experience at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ?
My experience at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ has been wonderful! Through the years I've really enjoyed the work culture, strong student engagement and the collaborative spirit that takes part when we come together to contribute to impactful projects for both the academic and student-athlete areas.
What is your favorite thing about working at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ?
My favorite thing about working at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ is how supportive my team and colleagues are; this has definitely given me a sense of belonging within our campus community.
What trait do you most like about yourself?
One trait I like most about myself is self-determination. I have a strong drive to achieve goals and overcome obstacles while maintaining a positive approach.
If you could learn to master one thing, what would it be?
I'd love to speak a third language fluently.
What inspires or empowers you?
Praying and studying God's Word with my family inspires me. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path". Psalm 119:105
Any advice for women starting careers on campus?
My advice to women starting a career on campus is that self-advocacy is key. Know the value you bring and don't be afraid to kindly bring your voice to the table.
