Business Affairs employees can request commitment of financial resource allocations of university funds as a one-time, multi-year, or ongoing allocation to the AVP of Financial Planning, Budget & Analysis.
 

Accessibility Ambassadors

To align with the university’s Top Tier 2.0 goal of promoting social justice, equity, and inclusion, Business Affairs is working to create equal access to important documents for persons with disabilities and promote a culture of universal access.

An accessibility ambassador represents each unit in Business Affairs. These highly-trained individuals gather together regularly to discuss best practices, and act as the first line of accessibility support for their area.   • This newsletter-style update is distributed every two weeks to Business Affairs employees.
  • Sections include: Top unit / department news, department spotlight, employee profile, employee of the month / year recognitions, new hire / promotion announcements, and exceptional customer service highlights.
  • Content is driven by employee input. Contact Heather Ortiz to submit a story idea.

Sharing Information with Campus

There are avenues available to Business Affairs employees for sharing important information with campus.

Campus Operations Update

and corresponding newsletter that connects the campus community with the latest Workday, business process, policy, and procedure updates from Business Affairs’ functional areas.

  • All Business Affairs employees are welcome to submit a communications request via the . Please complete the form as thoroughly as possible.
  • Once submitted, the communications team drafts a message via Google Docs and shares it with all appropriate reviewers.
  • After all parties approve, the communications team posts it to the Campus Operations Update webpage.
  • The communications team includes the messages in the weekly Campus Operations Update newsletter distributed to approximately 2,000 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ employees with advanced Workday roles.
  • A few examples of appropriate content include:
    • Finance year-end close process reminders
    • New graduate assistant rates
    • Workday workshops and webinars
    • New Workday processes and procedures
