51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ researchers studying Tourism Safety & Crowd Science (TSCS) conduct, coordinate, identify, and disseminate interdisciplinary and international research on effective crowd management strategies. Empirical evidence is used to develop crowd manager decision-making frameworks and tools to enhance the safety of crowd-based events.
TSCS researchers are working to identify effective tourism safety strategies and crowd management techniques for application in a variety of public and private places, including, but not limited to:
