About
The minor in Dance Production and Management provides a student with the opportunity to develop design and management skills for dance and stage productions. Students will be able to choose courses that interest them in lighting design, costume construction, set design, digital media design, stage management and the business of dance. This minor is open to dance majors and non-dance majors. No dance background is required for this minor.

Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- Develop a cohesive production and “arc” of design choices.
- Set-up technical components of productions.
- Collaborate with choreographers, designers, and other technical personnel to design aesthetic choreographic environments.
- Describe the important processes, procedures, and potential problems of a touring dance production.
- Define historical and current frameworks and apply these frameworks to production design.
