Part-time instructors, or PTIs, bring a vital combination of academic knowledge and practical experiences to our students’ learning experiences.
- PTIs are Integral to Student Success: Our part-time instructors contribute significantly to shaping future educators and mental health professionals — helping prepare students for real-world challenges in education and other fields.
- You’re Not Alone: Over 40% of the teaching faculty at higher education institutions nationwide are part-time instructors. This means our PTIs are part of a large, diverse, and essential teaching community that supports academic success. You have the chance to shape the lives of the future educators of Southern Nevada.
- Your Expertise Matters: Our PTIs bring cutting-edge knowledge and hands-on experience from various industries into the classroom. This real-world insight bridges the gap between theory and practice for students, enriching their education.
- Part-Timers, Full Impact: Although part-time, your role as an instructor makes a full-time difference in students' lives. Our part-time faculty often become mentors and key influencers in shaping the academic journeys of their students.
