Class Notes

Lisa Segler

Lisa Segler, '11 Master of Public Health, married Kristofer Segler, '17 BS Electrical Engineering, in January. In March, she became director of senior hunger programs at Three Square Food Bank. She also is president-elect of the Nevada Public Health Association and will serve a three-year term. In 2017, she graduated from Las Vegas's premier leadership program, Leadership Las Vegas. She is pursuing a doctoral degree in public health at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. Her hobbies include volunteering with the Junior League of Las Vegas, traveling with her husband, and taking their dog, Charlie, to the dog park. The couple lives in Henderson.  

Jeff Deason

Jeff Deason, '99 BS Engineering - Civil Engineering, recently was hired by PulteGroup’s West Florida Division as vice president of land planning and development. He will play an integral role in land development and entitlements with multiple projects across the division’s geographic area and will be responsible for leading the division’s land development team. He also will be responsible for timely and accurate design and installation of land development improvements, HOA administration, and managing the division’s engineers, consultants, and attorneys. In his previous roles, including a prior stint with PulteGroup’s Del Webb brand in Las Vegas, he held similar responsibilities. Four years ago he moved to Tampa with Taylor Morrison to lead its land department and says he is excited to re-join PulteGroup.
