DMA Candidate Lauren Zwonik presents her doctoral lecture recital as an analysis and comparison of major flute and fife methodologies and curricula, and how educators can pull meaningful pedagogical content and sources to teach in various individual and ensemble musical environments. Zwonik is joined by Timothy Jones on rope drum; they will feature prominent fife and drum tunes across European and American repertoires.
Parking: Attendees are welcome to park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage. Parking is free after 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; Fridays after 1 p.m.; and all day Saturdays and Sundays. During these times, visitors may park in any staff, student, or visitor space free of charge. Please observe handicapped/disabled, reserved, resident, and emergency parking restrictions at all times.
