How do Americans vote in U.S. Presidential elections? In this informative workshop, we will discuss the determinants of the vote in a historical context by analyzing the vote function of the U.S. electorate across several presidential election cycles. Students will gain an understanding of the leading vote determinants as well as context-specific indicators. The workshop will also introduce students to prominent election forecasting models and highlight their predictions for the 2024 U.S. Presidential election.
