Description
The public was invited to celebrate the life of Robert E. Lang, Ph.D., on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022 in Greenspun Hall on the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ campus. A light reception began at 3 p.m. in the Greenspun Hall Lobby, with the event beginning promptly at 3:30 p.m. inside the Greenspun Hall Auditorium.
As executive director of Brookings Mountain West and The Lincy Institute and the inaugural Lincy Endowed Chair in Urban Affairs in the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs, Lang served 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, Southern Nevada, and the State of Nevada with distinction and dedication. As a preeminent scholar in urban planning and related fields, Lang excelled as a teacher, author, and change agent.
We gathered with friends, family, colleagues, and students to share our favorite memories and recommit ourselves to creating a better 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, Southern Nevada, and State of Nevada.
