Calling all 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏolunteers! It's time to come together for our semesterly tradition—Service Day!
Date: Friday February 28, 2025
Time: 8 a.m. - Meet at Student Union Ballroom
Dress Code: Long pants, closed-toe shoes (No exceptions!).
What to Expect:
- Community Engagement: Spend 3 hours working with various community partners, doing tasks like lifting, moving, and other hands-on activities.
- Make Connections: Connect with fellow volunteers, make new friends, and learn about the work being done in our community.
- Celebrate Together: Join us afterwards for a lively post-service celebration featuring free food and exciting vendors.
- Opportunity Drawing: Participants will have the chance to win one of multiple prizes including a PlayStation 5!
About Three Square: Three Square provides wholesome food to hungry people and pursues a hunger-free community with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion. In 2023, they distributed over 37 million meals through various community partners, including nonprofits, schools, businesses, and volunteers. They collaborate with diverse sectors, such as the gaming industry, food distributors, higher education, and government entities, to fight hunger.
Transportation:
- Limited transportation available for select sites (more information to come).
- Carpooling is strongly encouraged to make things easier for everyone.
