Applying for the Award
Do you have "the write stuff"? 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ FILM would like to recognize short scripts that are outstanding examples of the art of screenwriting.
For the 2024 competition, please submit a script of 10 pages or less, any genre or style, with industry-standard formatting. (Note: The 10-page limit does not include a title page.)
This is an undergraduate award. All 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ film majors and/or students from other majors who have taken at least two film courses at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ are eligible to participate. Up to two entries per student may be submitted. (If you make an error and wish to re-submit one of your scripts, start a new application. The most recent submission of each script will be considered in the competition.)
- First place - $400
- Second place - $300
- Third place - $200
Submissions will be accepted until April 1, 2024 at 11:59 .pm.
Winners will be announced at the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Film Honors Celebration on April 22, 2024.
