Description

Orients students to the history, etiology, and prevalence of compulsive gambling. Provides students with knowledge of assessment tools and counseling skills. Characteristics of compulsive gambling behavior, stages of progression, distinctions and connections to other addictions, effects on families, finances, legal issues, and health. This course is crosslisted with CED 639. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.

ENG 101 and CED 300
