Amy Bouchard and Chad Warren (both Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement) were awarded the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Pinnacle Award for their work with the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Alumni Association at a ceremony held this week. They won in the category for Tactics: Best Usage of Data/Analytics for the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Alumni Attitude Survey from 2017. This category focuses on how the project uncovered hidden patterns, correlations, or other insights to help make quicker and more efficient business decisions to gain a competitive edge.
The survey was an instrument designed to uncover the thoughts and feelings of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's graduates about their alma mater and benchmark those results to our peers as well as to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's 2007 survey. The results were used to rewrite the Alumni Association's strategic plan, implement new programming, and eliminate programming no longer relevant to alumni.
Created in 1996, the Pinnacle Awards recognize the best public relations programs, tools, and professionals in Southern Nevada, Northern Arizona, and Southern Utah.
