Elizabeth Baldizan (Educational Outreach) has been honored with the designation of Emerita status by 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ President Len Jessup in recognition of her distinguished service to the university.
Baldizan retired Aug. 31 after serving 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ for nearly 20 years. She previously was the executive director for Community2Campus, a unit she developed from the ground up and which demonstrated her long-held commitment to enhancing the success of adult learners. She is nationally recognized for her work and publications in this arena.
A member of the Henderson Senior Citizen Advisory Commission, she recently was selected as a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of College and Character, a publication sponsored by NASPA-Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.
