Each year during the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) Fall Undergraduate Research Symposium, OUR recognizes and honors 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ undergraduate researchers who demonstrate and exemplify excellence in research. OUR awards one undergraduate researcher in Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (AHS) and one undergraduate researcher in Health and Natural Sciences and Engineering (HNSE). The awards carry a monetary prize of $500 each and a plaque.
Undergraduate researchers, Emily Huerta (Physics and Astronomy, Mathematical Sciences) and Elia Del Carmen Solano-Patricio (Public Policy and Leadership) are the recipients of the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) 2022 Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award in HNSE and AHS, respectively.
OUR proudly presents these awards to stimulate interest in research involvement at the undergraduate level and recognizes undergraduate students who demonstrate and exemplify excellence in research.
