Dr. Irma Corral (Medicine), interim associate dean for diversity, equity, and inclusion at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, was recently elected as an advisory board member for the the . The coalition’s advisory board is made up of academic and community partners that strive to champion for health equity across the state. Advisory board members offer a fresh perspective on how to address social determinates of health using a community-engaged approach to bridge community concerns and academic research. The main task of the board members is to identify priority issues that help build capacity, inform policy, and drive research.
