Kristine Jan Cruz Espinoza and Lisa Bendixen (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) were recognized at this year's 26th Annual Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) Research Forum on Saturday, April 6.
Bendixen was recognized as one of the two faculty recognized with the "Outstanding Mentor" award. This award goes to two 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ academic faculty members who show compassion for graduate and professional student professional development. These mentors have demonstrated continued success in preparing graduate-level students for their academic or professional careers.
Espinoza (Ph.D. Candidate in Higher Education) was recognized with "The Best of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Award." This award goes to a student who represents 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ in the best way possible. This person supports 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s Vision and Mission and deepens the university’s culture of philanthropy and alumni connection.
