Levent Atici (Anthropology and Undergraduate Research) is elected to be a national councilor in the Undergraduate Research Programs Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) which aims to support and promote high-quality, mentored undergraduate research through the active involvement of its members. CUR division councilors share in the design and implementation of initiatives to achieve the organization’s goals. The dedication of the councilors is essential to enhancing the vitality and efficacy of the organization. Councilors share a passion for undergraduate research and a desire to assist mentors and institutions in establishing and sustaining effective research programs with undergraduates. This is an important leadership opportunity that will give Atici and 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ a voice at the national level. In addition to being an anthropology professor, Atici is executive director of undergraduate research.
