Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health; Internal Medicine) coauthored an article titled, “” in the journal, JMIR Aging (Impact factor 5.0) with coauthors from Monash University, University of New Mexico, Alfred Health (Australia), and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The findings from the article revealed that nearly one-third of Chinese middle-aged and older adults had visual impairment. Applying a combination of prediction models and variable importance analysis can render beneficial insights for the early identification and intervention of visual impairment in this target group.
