Melissa Bowles-Terry (head of Educational Initiatives at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ University Libraries) and Erin Rinto (51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ University Libraries undergraduate learning librarian) recently presented at the , the premier national conference for those interested in library instruction. Their presentation, "Taste Testing Research Topics: Assessing the Scope and Feasibility of First-Year Students' Research Paper Topics," explored how this student group selected research topics and how those choices informed 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's library instruction program.
