James Hines, Brittany Jackson, and Nancy Lough (all Educational Psychology and Higher Education) presented a poster titled "Are Power Assymetries Perpetuated through Higher Education Media on Intercollegiate Athletics?" at the Association for the Study of Higher Education conference, which was held this month in Houston. Lough also led a panel discussion on "The Importance of Emerging Research in College Athletics: Informing Higher Education Graduate Programs" with 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ alum Lisa Rubin. Marrisa Nichols, a 2017 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ graduate, presented a paper with Lough titled "An Examination of Differences in Division I FBS Student-Athlete Academic and Athletic Performance."
