Oak Vichaikul (Liberal Arts) has been elected to serve as president of the (WAPLA) for 2019–22. The assistant director and pre-law coordinator in the College of Liberal Arts' Wilson Advising Center, Vichaikul will serve as president-elect for 2018–19, and has served on the WAPLA Executive Board as a member at-large for the past four years. He is also the WAPLA site supervisor for 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and will continue to coordinate the Law Fair that is hosted on the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ campus every fall. In his role as WAPLA president, he also will represent the WAPLA region on the Prelaw Advisors National Council. WAPLA serves pre-law advisors in the states of Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.
