The hosted the dean from the University of Taif’s dental school in Saudi Arabia to help him develop his clinical program with the goal of attaining international accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Dean Yousef Al-Thomali met with Dr. William Davenport, Jr. and other faculty members to learn about 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ School of Dental Medicine’s unique clinical education model. Earning CODA international accreditation will enable faculty and graduates from University of Taif’s dental school to more easily receive specialty training in the United States. This is Dr. Al-Thomali’s second visit to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. Faculty from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ School of Dental Medicine have visited Taif and other dental schools in Saudi Arabia during the past five years to assist with the development of their programs, provide lectures, and participate in seminars.
