Yoohwan Kim, Juyeon Jo, Mehdi Abid (all Computer Science), and 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Cyber Clinic members Bianca Ionescu, Christian Rodriguez, and Arturo Roman (all Information Systems), were invited to attend the 2024 National Cybersecurity Education Colloquium (NCEC) and present on the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Cybersecurity Clinic.
The main goal of the event, which took place in St. Louis, MO, was to tackle the increasing need for cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development in the nation. 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ was one of only a few National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CD) designees invited to table and highlight their Cyber Clinic.
The event gave students an opportunity to share their unique, student-led clinic model with other colleges interested in starting their own, and network with top academic and government leaders in the cybersecurity field.
