Why I’m a proud graduate of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ â€¦
As the middle son of a single mom who stressed the importance of education, completing my bachelor of science degree in business management confirmed for me, at a young age, that I could achieve any goal I set. My degree from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s business college instilled in me a confidence that I previously did not possess. It allowed me to begin a career in banking and finance that has led to many personal and professional successes in my 35-year career.
I have often wondered where I would be today had I not completed my undergraduate education at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. I suspect my career as a banking executive would not have occurred, which means I would not have been able to work with my wife, Debbie, to address challenges related to public education. I also would not have been able to serve on many philanthropic boards. My 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ degree prepared me for many opportunities in life and opened doors in Las Vegas that allowed me to make a difference in my home city. Education is that one asset no one can ever take from you. I’m thankful for the education the many fine 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ professors provided me; I am proud to be a Rebel!
