Biography

Brian K. Schilling is a professor of Kinesiology & Nutrition Sciences at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. His research primarily concentrates on tactical strength and conditioning, or the human performance testing and training for police, military, fire and rescue personnel. He received the National Strength and Conditioning Association Outstanding Young Investigator Award in 2010 and the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research Editorial Excellence Award in 2009. He teaches courses in research methods in addition to scientific writing and communication, and recently co-authored a textbook entitled "Evidence-based Practice in Sport and Exercise". He currently serves as the President of the National Strength and Conditioning Foundation.
