Biography

Jared Oestman is an assistant professor of political science at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ with expertise in foreign policy and international security. He has conducted research on the topics of peacekeeping, public opinion in U.S. foreign policy, the politics of foreign aid, and the foreign policies of major power countries.

Oestman’s research has been featured in peer-reviewed journals including International Interactions, Journal of Peace Research, International Peacekeeping, and Armed Forces & Society. He received his Ph.D. in political science in 2022 from Rice University.
