Katrina Liu
Biography
Katrina Liu is an associate professor within 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's College of Education. Her research focuses on theory, practice, and innovation in preparing quality teachers to teach in diverse classrooms. She also has deep expertise in obtaining and managing high-dollar external grants.
Liu — who has collaborated on research with multiple schools within the Clark County School District — is most recently studying critical reflection for transformative learning in teacher education, preparing and supporting teachers and teacher educators of color, and preparing globally minded teachers. Her interdisciplinary work has appeared in journals such as Review of Research in Education, Educational Review, Journal of Teacher Education and Technology, and Reflective Practice.
