The College of Fine Arts/Clark County partnership, Arts in the Center, continues at 7 p.m. on Dec. 18 with premier jazz vocal ensemble Studio Scarlet singing holiday hits from Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Celine Dion, and other Vegas legends at the Composers Showroom located in historic Commercial Center, 953 E. Sahara Ave.

Arts in the Center features a varied array of music, visual arts, film and theatre events through June 4, all of which are free and open to the public (reservations may be required).
Additional selections during its second season will be a mariachi extravaganza, the immersive theatre experience Parking Lot Plays, and a short film showcase.
Arts in the Center is a public demonstration of a partnership that has been forged between Clark County and 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s College of Fine Arts. Its purpose is to expand the reach of arts programming created at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ while providing free quality arts programming to the community at large.
The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ College of Fine Arts — currently with more than 2,700 enrollees — focuses on seven key disciplines: theatre, dance, film, art, architecture, entertainment engineering and design, and music. It also offers on-site programming including professional presentations from world-renowned artists to concerts presented by faculty and students, lectures offered by distinguished artists, writers, critics and exhibitions of student work in galleries.
