Latinos are the fastest-growing population in Nevada and the largest minority student group at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ with close to 18 percent of the university's undergrad population.
The Hispanic Heritage Month forum brings together community and campus leaders to offer diverse perspectives on key social and economic issues impacting Latinos in Southern Nevada. The event will begin with a welcome by 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Vice President for Diversity Initiatives and Government Relations Luis Valera and a presentation on the current economic landscape of Latinos in Nevada by economist Jeremy Aguero of Applied Analysis. Panelists include:
