Kristene Fisher, a 12-year employee of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, recently was named President's Classified Employee of the Year at the university.
Fisher works as executive assistant to the dean of the College of Sciences. She received $1,000, free campus parking for one year, and a plaque as part of the honor.
Sybil Strano-Perry of the department of nursing was the second-place recipient. She received a plaque and $750. Third place went to Katrina Switalski from the College of Education. She received $500 and a plaque.
51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ President Carol C. Harter presented the awards at a luncheon last month.
A total of 35 employees were nominated.
