The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Master of Fine Arts (MFA) International Program will present a poetry reading by its students on Dec. 8 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. in the Flora Dungan Humanities Building, Room 109, on the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ campus.
Seventeen accomplished students will read from their works of fiction and poetry. This is the first group event for the MFA program.

The MFA program at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ consists of a three-year study of creative writing that leads to the Master of Fine Arts, considered the terminal academic degree in the field. The program emphasizes crafting publishable works of poetry or fiction, with rigorous graduate-level coursework that offers preparation for professional careers in writing, teaching, and publishing.
