Agnes Evans must put together the pieces after her younger sister, Tilly’s, death. Although they were never especially close, what she discovers about her sister sends Agnes on a fantastical trip through the mysterious world of Dungeons and Dragons.
Liang is a stage director/theater artist of color based in the San Francisco Bay Area and is the artistic director of Ferocious Lotus Theatre Company. She has worked with American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theater’s Ground Floor Lab, California Shakespeare Theater, Crowded Fire Theater Company (Resident Artist), Ferocious Lotus Theater Company (Literary Manager, Producer), Bay Area Children's Theatre, Bay Area Playwrights Foundation, Bindlestiff Studios, Contra Costa Civic Theater, Just Theater, PlayGround Center for New Plays (Directing Fellow 2017), San Francisco Playhouse, TheaterFirst, TheaterWorks, and Oakland Theater Project. May was a member of the 2017 Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab in New York City and a member of the director's cohort for the 2019 Directors Lab Chicago.
The cast includes Ruliko Cronin as Agnes, Frannie Maas as Tilly, Agustine Ballesteros as Chuck, Greg Prusiewicz as Miles, Chiara Cala as Kaliope/Kelly, Jackie Martin as Lilith/Lily, Autumn Simone Morgan as Vera/Evil Gabbi, Nico Lemus as Narrator/Evil Tina/Farrah, Kaleb Bustamante as Steve, and Luke Halferty as Orcus/Ronnie.
