51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ English Professor Christopher Hudgins will kick-off the Spring 2006 University Forum Lecture Series with a discussion about the work of 2005 Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Natural History, located on the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ campus.
An internationally known Pinter scholar, Hudgins attended the Nobel Laureate awards ceremony in Stockholm this past December as a guest of Pinter and the Swedish academy.
During the lecture, Hudgins will discuss Pinter's work and reputation and show a short segment of Pinter's film "The Homecoming." He will also explore Pinter's work as an advocate for human rights.
