51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ President Neal Smatresk, Interim Athletic Director Jerry Koloskie, "Hey Reb" (the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ mascot), cheerleaders and members of the 2009 Rebels football team will visit Cunningham Elementary School for a pep rally/assembly to bring Rebel spirit and homecoming football tickets to children from financially disadvantaged families.
Additionally, athletes will deliver books from a related 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ book drive and teach Cunningham students the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ fight song. The effort is part of the new Adopt a School program tied to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ homecoming.
