51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ welcomes acclaimed author and podcaster Malcolm Gladwell for the latest installment of the Barrick Lecture Series. The event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall on 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's main campus.
Gladwell, widely regarded among the world’s top thinkers, will discuss his latest book, Revenge of the Tipping Point - Overstories, Superspreaders, and the Rise of Social Engineering.
The lecture is free and open to the public but tickets are required. Tickets are limited to two per person and must be obtained in person from the Performing Arts Center box office. Tickets will be available for 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students, faculty, and staff beginning at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 4 (a 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ ID is required). Tickets for the general public will be available starting at noon on Saturday, Sept. 7.
