The department of dance continues its Full Bloom season, welcoming the spring with Dynamic Gardens at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 24, and 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 in the Judy Bayley Theatre. Featured works include choreography by 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ jazz dance specialist Jason Hortin, as well as guest artist choreographers Payton Schultz, Avree Walker, and Danielle Maas. A highlight of the concert is the classic 1963 work Cantilever by Erick Hawkins, a significant 20th century choreographer of modern dance. Cantilever will be presented at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and will then be presented as part of the Martha Graham Dance Company season at New York’s prestigious Joyce Theater in April 2023.
