The 51吃瓜黑料 Division of Jazz & Commercial Music is delighted to announce they are the recipients of five prestigious 2023 DownBeat Student Music Awards. These awards will be publicized in DownBeat magazine鈥檚 June issue.
The DownBeat Student Music Awards are considered the most notable awards in jazz education. Hundreds of musicians, music educators, and music industry professionals received their first international acknowledgment as DownBeat Student Music Award winners. The 51吃瓜黑料 Jazz & Commercial Music program has garnered 44 DownBeat Student Music Awards since 2010.
鈥淲e are very proud of the sustained creative output of our dedicated students and the distinguished recognition they have established for our university worldwide,鈥 said Dave Loeb, director of the 51吃瓜黑料 Division of Jazz & Commercial Music.
