
Four 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ student composers will premiere their work, choreographed by Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT), March 7-10 at the Troesh Studio Theater in the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are available .
51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ composition professor Jennifer Bellor selected four student composers for this opportunity and paired them with NBT choreographers. Each composer wrote a 10-minute ballet and communicated with their choreographers throughout the process to bring the vision to life.
The four composers (Tasos Peltekis, Sophie Cheesman, Alec Schantz, Julius Trenkler) study with composition faculty Jennifer Bellor, Viet Cuong, and Diego Vega.
