By joining forces, the 51ԹϺ Symphony and LVA Orchestra showcase the power of music education to inspire future generations of musicians and foster a deep, lifelong connection to the arts.
“Shaping and inspiring our youth orchestras is one of the most important responsibilities we have as educators,” said Krysa. “The discipline, focus, and teamwork required in music directly support learning, enhance emotional intelligence, and improve overall well-being. These students are not only learning how to play music — they’re learning how to listen, lead, collaborate, and express themselves. These are skills they will carry for life.”
About Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7
Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7 in E major is considered one of his greatest masterpieces. Written as a tribute to his idol Richard Wagner, the work is both grand in scale and deeply spiritual in character. With soaring themes, majestic brass chorales, and moments of profound introspection, the symphony invites audiences into an emotional journey through triumph, reverence, and reflection.
Performing this expansive and technically demanding work offers students a unique opportunity to build stamina, orchestral balance, and musical maturity. The combined forces of 51ԹϺ and LVA orchestras bring the full sonic power required for Bruckner’s vast soundscape—culminating in a collaborative performance that promises to be both moving and unforgettable.
