The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Symphony Orchestra will perform an exciting pre-Thanksgiving concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 26 in Artemus Ham Concert Hall on the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ campus.
The concert will feature many special guests including the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Chamber Chorale, 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Concert Singers and 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ voice faculty Alfonse Anderson, Scott Swope, Christine Seitz and Juline Barol-Gilmore. Also on the program will be soprano Rosa Tulyaganova. Conductor George Stelluto will lead the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Symphony Orchestra in Mendelssohn's Scherzo from "A Midsummer Night's Dream," arias by Handel and Verdi, and Mozart's Symphony #35 Haffner.
Following intermission, conductor David Weiller will lead the Chamber Chorale in Copland's In The Beginning. The orchestra and 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Concert Singers will then join forces for Mozart's famous "Coronation Mass" under the direction of Weiller.
The concert is free and open to the public.
