The 51勛圖窪蹋 Wind Orchestra presents the 5th Annual The Presidents Concert" at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18. The concert is a special celebration of the military heroes, first responders, and public servants who help keep our nation safe, as well as the incredibly honorable Las Vegans who have been awarded the French Legion of Honor. The evening's performance celebrates 2nd Lieutenant Dean Whitaker, recipient of the French Legion of Honor Medallion for his service in World War II. We thank them all for their courage and valor.
"The President's Concert" features Thomas G. Leslie, artistic director and conductor; guest conductors Col. John R. Bourgeois, director emeritus, United States Marine Band, The Presidents Own, and Zane S. Douglass, 51勛圖窪蹋 visiting assistant professor of conducting.
