The official dedication ceremony for the Jean Nidetch Women's Center is scheduled for Sept. 13 at 2 p.m.
The center, located on the west side of the new Student Services Complex on the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ campus, will also hold an open house 11 a.m.-6 p.m. the same day. The public is invited to tour the facility and meet the staff. Refreshments will be served.
Weight Watchers International founder Jean Nidetch, who donated $500,000 toward the construction of the center, will speak at the ceremony, as will 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ President Kenny Guinn. Gov. Bob Miller and Las Vegas Mayor Jan Jones are also expected to attend.
