The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Performing Arts Center welcomes YouTube sensation and fingerstyle guitarist Andy McKee at 7:30 p.m Friday, Nov. 9. Among the world’s finest acoustic guitarists, his youthful energy and attention to song structure and melodic content elevates him above the rest. He entertains both the eye and the ear as he magically transforms the steel string guitar into a full orchestra via his use of altered tunings, tapping, partial capos, percussive hits, and a signature two-handed technique.
McKee’s crossover success has helped him achieve millions of YouTube viewers, underscoring his emergence as one of today’s most unique and influential artists. He has been featured as a cover story in both Acoustic Guitar Magazine in the United States and Acoustic Magazine in the UK, and is also the figurehead of the Guitar Masters tours. McKee’s tour dates have taken him through Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America, including tours with legendary acts including Prince and Dream Theater.

51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Performing Arts Center patrons are welcome to park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage. Parking is free after 7 p.m. Monday - Thursday, after 1 p.m. Friday, and all weekend.
Tickets
Tickets to Andy McKee are $45 and can be purchased online or by calling at the Performing Arts Center box office at 702-895-ARTS (2787). Student rush tickets are $10 each and available one hour prior to each event with valid student I.D. 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ faculty and staff discounts also are available. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Information about all of the season's performances can be found on the .
About the PAC
The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Performing Arts Center is Southern Nevada's first home for the arts: it opened in 1976 and celebrates its 43rd season this year. It hosts a variety of performances and events and is home to productions presented by the Nevada Conservatory Theatre, 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ School of Music, 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Dance, Desert Chorale, and the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society. The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ PAC also is pleased to host various Clark County School District fine arts festivals and concerts.
