New Mental Health and Well-Being Assessment
Taking a mental health assessment is a quick and convenient first step in helping to get connected to behavioral health resources. 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students, faculty, and staff have access to YOU @ 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, a free digital guide created to provide personalized recommendations, tips, and resources to assist with balancing your physical, mental, and social health.
A new assessment on labeled Thrive is able to measure "physical, mental, and emotional well-being" and can be accessed by clicking on the Self Check option after signing into your account through the YOU @ 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ website. After answering a few questions, the Thrive self-check assessment provides feedback about areas of your life or mental health that may require more of your attention, such as: loneliness and depression; physical health; managing anger; suicidal thoughts; or alcohol and substance abuse.
The confidential assessment provides immediate, personalized "strengths-based" feedback on these areas and also points you to additional resources and next steps.
Self checks "Succeed," which focuses on academic and career success, and "Matter," which focuses on life purpose, are also available.
