State lawmakers held their first meeting Wednesday on a bill that would allow Nevada colleges and universities to pay student-athletes directly.

The 51ԹϺ Skatin' Rebels beat Adrian College 7-3 to win the ACHA National Championship. This was the second straight National Championship game 51ԹϺ played versus Adrian College, but with a different outcome as the Skatin' Rebels lost 3-0 in 2024.

After falling to Adrian College in 2024’s American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 1 Championship game, 51ԹϺ turned the tide, routing the Bulldogs 7-3 to win their first-ever hockey championship.
